ITS RANDAY!

Happy Randay Everyone! I had to get an early start cuz the Chargers were playing this morning...& my dad is on a trip right now & he's on the other side of the world... But guess what? He was able to watch the game too! I miss my Randay football with my dad rubbing my belly...Here I'm all ready for the game...I have Pinky Piglet on my head, Sqweeky Piggy in my mouth along with my own pigskin football...
For those of you who don't know...The San Diego Chargers won by a NOSE! I'd like to think it was MY NOSE that helped them out...
Then a little bone action...
Napping after my mom/secretary played fetch with me. Its really fun...I mix up the rules a bit cuz she'll throw the ball & then I catch it - but then I make HER fetch it from me...
Today I'd like to dedicate this Randay to Maryann & the Brat Pack. They've been on my mind & in my heart all day. On this Randay, I am thankful for wonderful people like Maryann who are able to find homes for us rescued doggies. She is truly an angel here on earth...

DURANGO - Little Angel

Maryann & The Brat Pack had to say goodbye to little Durango this afternoon. His life on earth was entirely too short, but he was LOVED. Our hearts ache for Maryann. I know Dakota & Thrawn were there to welcome him home.

Awards, Whiskers & Pawfume

Hey! I received this neato award from Tasha & Eva! Its the You Make My Day Award... So thank you very much girls! I'm going to give this award to some new comers that that have totally made my day lately - I think they are all pretty new to DWB - so congrats to Miss Chumley, Satchel & Andrew, Gizmo, & Cub - they are all Newfies!
There has been a tag going around about 7 weird things you can list about yourself...so I thought I'd spill the beans...& maybe mix it up a bit & tell you how weird my mom/secretary is...

1. My mom's favorite item on my face is my nose - I must be kissed a gazillion times a day on my nose...& if its runny, she'll even grab a tissue & wipe it for me....

2. I have white fur furs coming out on my snout & chinny-chin-chin....I didn't have this many when I was a wee pup...
3. Here are the whiskers under my chinny-chin-chin - the very right one has a split end! You might need to biggie the pic to see...I think I need an appointment at the doggy spa...

4. I sometimes lose my whiskers & my mom/secretary finds them on the floor...she used to find my brother Dublin's whiskers too...& for all of you who thought my mom/secretary as normal..here is the proof that she isn't...she saves the whiskers in a ziplock bag! She must have about 45 seperate whiskers between my stash & my brothers! The even weirder thing...they are stored in a top secret location & it was one of the things she packed when my peoples had to evacuate during the wildfires at the end of October... Yeah - I know...I live with a loonie...

5. My mom also loves my paw paws - they rank right up there with my nose...its a "tie" she says.....again...proof of weirdness...my inner paw paws pads smell like corn chips...My brothers paw paws & his tummy smelled like corn chips when he was a wee pup too...but mine still do! My mom calls it PAWFUME...

Well - I can only think of 5 at the moment..but I'm sure there's more..

Following Orders...

Sorry for the delay....I had to have Opy's Dad help me fit my helmet on my head...He had to cut open holes for my ears...So now I am ready to join in the quest to find Beau. I know most of you have already joined..but its my responsiblility to relay all this info again...
This is Beau, a beautiful English Setter who was STOLEN from his home & peoples in Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia on 1 July 2003. He needs to come home. His family misses him & I know he needs the love & hugs & cuddles of his peoples....

My peoples have friends in Australia & New Zealand & they are gonna be getting an email from me to look for Beau too...

In case you are wondering about my helmet picture...I decided to drool a bit for the camera...I thought it would make me look more tough...especially since I'm usually decked out in pink... & yes, my mom/secretary actually printed that white poster, stuck tape on the back & taped it to my chest...I've endured torture....so I'm ready to find Beau...as Supreme Comander Stormy says, "Failure is not an option."

We love you Beau & we're on a mission!

ITS RANDAY!

Happy Randay Everyone! I had a nice Burpday Week...& yes..I'm still waiting for my cake...& above I'm waiting to watch the Charger/Titans game with my dad all ready with my football..but my mom told me some very disturbing news...
Usually he's sitting on the couch or on the floor WITH ME!...But now he's IN THE TV! He's actually watching the game AT the game in the stands & I think that is totally unfair...especially since its Randay & that's one of my favorite Randay activities with him...I bet he's even eating a hotdog...I love hotdogs....but HA..its raining & I'm sure he's getting all wet!
Look at my sad face...I'm not even playing with Squeeky Piggie either...I think I'm just gonna nap the rest of the day...My mom/secretary is what I call "football stupid" so I can't watch with her...

On this Randay, I'm thankful that I'm inside & not outside where it is raining.

RANWEEK Part III

I didn't plan on my peoples getting a second helping of snottles & sniffles this season...especially during my Burpday Week Celebration...But I guess its been a good omen...for me, not them, cuz I've been able to get lots of belly rubs, ear rubs & rumb rubs when they've been lazy couch dwellers...the only thing I don't like is when my dad sneezes...he sneezes really loud & it scares me. Here I am with my Burpday candle in a Frosty Paw...My mom/secretary didn't even bake me my own cake...but I'll settle for one later...
Here is my new friend, Squeeky the Piggie...He was in my stocking from Santa. He's lots of fun to play with.
& here is my new Pink Piglet! She's so soft & I love using her for a pillow..that is when I'm not subjecting her to Shaken Stuffie Sydrome...She's one tough piglet!

RANWEEK! - Part II

Hey HAPPY NEW YEAR! I'm still celebrating the new year & by Burpday too! Here is a pic of me covered in a blankie that reads, "I didn't ask to be a Princess...but if the tiara fits..." I love pink & thanks to my friend Suzanne who gave this to me!!! My mom/secretary tells me she's having a bit of trouble uploading pics on Blogger..so bear with her...I told her to hurry up all day, but it doesn't seem to be working....& she hasn't had a chance to get around to visiting everyone! Sorry...but rest assured that I am getting my full quote of belly rubs this week!
