OK - this is embarassing...look at me! I usually don't mind getting a bath..as long as you keep the water out of my face. I like the full body massage part..that is quite relaxing..maybe next time you can light some candles & leave a glass of bubbly & LEAVE ME ALONE! Can't a girl have her privacy? And did you notice the even more embarassing bubble mowhawk on my back & rump? My tail hangs limply between my legs, my pride is gone.
The bath was in preparation for the arrival of company, the two-legged kind...& of course the house was cleaned & all my toys place neatly in their respective toy baskets, my beds & blankets washed...That is why my dear ole' mother didn't get around to typing up the memo I placed yesterday in the Dog Blog IN Basket....does that constitute a written warning? Failure to obey? I mean, she's been on the job not even a full week! Mmmmh.
Anyway, you can see my absolute embarassment in the picture evidence above. I won't even make eye contact in hope that the pics won't be published. But I guess they are. Finally, I give her what she wants - a full frontal facial shot...There! Happy now? Next time I'm going to figure out how to make an obscene paw gesture...now that she surely couldn't publish!
One benefit of bathtime is that I'm showered with lots of attention for the rest of the day - pets & hugs & belly rubs & back rubs & cuddling...my favorite. So I guess if I must endure a bit of embarassment for the sake of love and attention, I'll do it.
Love & Licks,
Randi

Ah sorry about the bath. They should give you all the attention without giving you the bath
We hate baths. Eva is all fur so when she's wet she looks like a drowned rat.
Hopefully, your people don't have an evil "Furminator".

We got baths too yesterday! Both of us! Afterwards we were exhausted and so was mama, but we recovered from our exhaustion very quickly and realized we felt like a bit of bitey-face craziness. When I was running in huge circles around the living room furniture mama kicked us outside to play.
Pfff...I hardly ever break anything...
Hi Randi,
Thanks for visiting my blog. Sorry to hear about Dublin. :(
You should ask your Dad to make bath time more fun for you. My Mommie lets me play with toys in the tub so I love taking a bath. Heehee!
