ITS MY BURPDAY!

Today's my BURPDAY! I'm 8 in human years! Do I look more mature & soo-fist-o-cat-ed? I've had the bestest day for my burpday...I did a little relaxin' in the sun...my mom/secretary didn't catch my roaching action...but you should have seen all the grass on my back!

My mom/secretary/personal chef made me a burpday cake this morning...I appreciated her effort & all...but when my dad came home...he brought me this....

THE BESTEST BURPDAY DOUBLE CHEESEBURGER CAKE! Sorry mom...I'll eat the other cake later...

GIMME THIS CAKE INSTEAD!

Nom nom nom nom nom nom nom nom nom nom nom nom nom nom.....mmmm! SO GOOD!

Then I settled in for a little bully stick relaxin'.....

Then it was time to sample the other burpday cake...notice the frosting on my nose for the cuteness effect...I sampled some of this cake, but have to admit, the cake my dad brought home was WAY better!

& my burpday presents arrived via the UPS dude about 4 seconds ago...2 Coolaroo Outdoor Pet Beds...Now I can keep one on the grass & one on the patio! But my mom/secretary/party-pooper just informed me I have to share with Win-Com-Poop cuz he hangs out in my yard too...NA NA NA NA...I can't hear you mom...don't rain on my parade on my BURPDAY!!!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Merry Christmas Everybody! I'm spending my Christmas with my cousin Wincompoop & his peoples cuz MY peoples flew to Minnie-Soda...But never fear, I saw that my mom/secretary had a bag of goodies delivered to Wincompoop's house when she thought I wasn't looking...I hope Santa Paws still knows where to find me, cuz I really want that Wake 'n Bacon! ...Have a wonderful Christmas & a wonderful Randay & I'll see you all next week!

What I Want for Christmas...by Randi

Dear Santa...I want a Wake 'n Bacon alarm clock...This is what the linky says, in case you don't know what it is...

The Wake n' Bacon is a collaborative alarm clock design by Matty Sallin, Daniel Bartolini and Hsiao-huh Hsu. It wakes you up with the delicious scent of bacon instead of beeping. How?
A frozen strip of bacon is placed in Wake n' Bacon the night before. Because there is a 10 minute cooking time, the clock is set to go off 10 minutes before the desired waking time. Once the alarm goes off, the clock it sends a signal to a small speaker to generate the alarm sound. We hacked the clock so that the signal is re-routed by a microchip that in responds by sending a signal to a relay that throws the switch to power two halogen lamps that slow-cook the bacon in about 10 minutes.

That's all I want Santa...& world peace...& bully sticks to rain from the sky...I've been a very good pup this year...Love, Randi

Contrary to what some people (my peoples) have been telling...your two front teeth is a perfectly acceptable gift to ask Santa for... I guess there's some silly song about it...my mom/secretary has been singing it to me...I wonder if there is a song for my Wake 'N Bacon alarm clock...?

ITS RANDAY!

Happy Randay everybody! I've been doing lots of snoozing on the couch while my dad watches football...Here's my paw paw hanging over the edge...very comfy...

Then I decided it was time to search for some toys...I knew exactly what I was looking for...cuz I don't have that many stuffies...(I'm very neglected as you can tell)...

WHERE ARE YOU? I was going for a theme today... no matter what I pulled out...it just wasn't what I was looking for...

Found them! My exotic Chinese baby panda & my zebra...Lookie! We all match!

Then after all that digging, it was time for lunch...I'm happy my mom/secretary as been keep up with my dining decor dedecoration with my holiday cards! I love it!

ITS RANDAY!

Happy Randay everybody! Its been a lazy day here...Good job to everyone who guess that I gave ELMO a tongue bath in my last post... Here he makes a very good pillow...

I've been doing lots of this today... Usually, I'm not allowed on the couch very much, but I've vee-toed that rule...Now the couch is mine...

Come to think of it...the carpet is mine too...& Elmo makes a good napping buddy...

On a much more serious note, my peoples have been very sad this weekend because of some very tragic news...a friend of my mom's for 20 years, his parents home burned to the ground in MN on Friday night. His father was able to make it out, but his mother & their two dogs did not... Its a horrific tragedy...the cause of the fire is still not known...So on this Randay, I want you to please double check your fire alarms & review your family escape plans...because people & pets are priceless. Please send prayers & pawsitive energy their way...

A Gift from My Little Cub

Guess what came in the mail yesterday? A gift from my little cub Dexter! Here he is posing with his big bro Mango for their holiday card. I was so excited that I was sniffing & sniffing & I just new there were pawsome goodies just for me!

Nom nom nom....a yummy cheese-filled bone & pawlidays tennis balls! My favorite!

Thank you little Dexter Labradude! You know just what makes a (mature) girl like me happy! Here I made my mom take a pic of me with the yummy bone & little Dexter on the right...Sorry Mango...you were just a bit to huge to get in the pic...hope you don't mind...

But Mango must have had a bit of say in telling Dexter what to send...cuz here I am making my own suds! Not to be confused with the high quality Mango Suds...but suds they are!

Thank you again, Dexter! I was having a bad day cuz my mom/secretary has the flu sickies & she didn't play with me all day...but when your package arrived, she rolled off the couch & helped me open the package & let me play with the bone & balls for hours!

Here I am above helping her get rid of the flu sickies...I hear that rubbing a lab/newf behind the ears for 3 hours straight is the bestest cure there is!

After lunch I've been relaxing in front of the tv... & then I found this on ESPN! A border collie doing agility! I was sure I could find him .... maybe he'd want to play...

Do you see me behind the tv? He wasn't there...I checked...for like 15 minutes...but he never showed up...

So now I think I'm gonna nap & get belly rubs from my mom/secretary...& then visit all of you later!

ITS RANDAY! (about time!)

HAPPY RANDAY EVERYBODY! I'm back! My peoples returned from China last week...it took them days to get over their jet-wag... I should know, when I fly on Aire-Ruby, I am exhausted from wagging my tail on the jet...I don't know what they were wagging...they don't have tails...maybe they were flapping their arms...whatever...

But since my peoples return, they have been suffering from P.V.P.G. - now, I know that sounds like some unwanted souviner you might pick up in the Red Light District of Amsterdam...but it actually stands for Post Vacation Pet Guilt...& ITS AWESOME! Seems that my ma & pa were so overcome with guilt once they realized how crazy it was to leave me for three weeks...but I'm reeping the benefits of this disorder...I've started an intensive therapy program of belly rubs, rump rubs, ear rubs, tennis ball throwing & general snuggling...seems to be doing the trick...my peoples are on the road to recovery & hopefully will never leave me again...

My mom/secretary has promised me to be a better secretary...more blogs & more visits to all of you...plus I had my DWB holiday card photo session yesterday...It was my mom/secretary's burpday yesterday as well...but I told her under no circumstances could she have the day off...so it was spent decorating the Christmas tree & getting a very cute pic of me in all my black & fuzzy glory...

On this Randay, I'm thankful that my people are home.

CHINA?

Hey Everybody! Here I am all ready for Halloween in my bunny costume...I hope Air Ruby is on its way to come & pick me up & bring us to the Tower of London... Remember, my little cub, Dexter, is going as a bunny too! & I'm bringing carrots for everyone!

Since I'm going to be hanging out in London with all my DWB pals, my peoples thought it would be a good time for them to get away too...so they booked a flight to China! Since my mom/secretary hasn't been very responsible lately (hence my lack of blogging) here is what she has done to prepare me for their absence...

Once I return from London, I'll be left to fend for myself...a bucket o'food & some water...& once I eat through my rations, I'll just head to Win-com-poop's house & ransack his kitchen...

My peoples will be back in 3 weeks to help me catch up on my blogging backload...See you all in London!
