Happy Randay everybody! Its been a lazy day here...Good job to everyone who guess that I gave ELMO a tongue bath in my last post... Here he makes a very good pillow...
I've been doing lots of this today... Usually, I'm not allowed on the couch very much, but I've vee-toed that rule...Now the couch is mine...
Come to think of it...the carpet is mine too...& Elmo makes a good napping buddy...On a much more serious note, my peoples have been very sad this weekend because of some very tragic news...a friend of my mom's for 20 years, his parents home burned to the ground in MN on Friday night. His father was able to make it out, but his mother & their two dogs did not... Its a horrific tragedy...the cause of the fire is still not known...So on this Randay, I want you to please double check your fire alarms & review your family escape plans...because people & pets are priceless. Please send prayers & pawsitive energy their way...

Oh so sad about your friends family. To lose loved humans and not have dogs to help you through it is most unbearable. Moose and I wish them comfort through this difficult time. As always Randi is adorable as always and wise to remind us all of fire safety! Thanks Randi!

Oh, gosh! I'm so sorry to hear about the family. Yes, we ALL need to make plans. The San Diego fire last fall burned to within a block of my elderly aunt & uncle's home. They had lots of cinders on their roof, but it didn't burn. My thoughts and prayers for your friend's family.

We're sending AireZen and all the goober love we can muster out toward Minnesota! That is some sad sad news. We just replaced all of our batteries in our smoke detectors and CO detectors. That's a good reminder, though.
I'm glad you have Elmo to cuddle. There's something about a giant stuffy that just makes things feel more right with the world.
