ITS RANDAY!

Happy Randay Everybody! As the wee newfie Little Miss Chums pointed out in the comments from my last post, I am the great Randini & did indeed make a daring escape from the chains that I was trapped in... So thank you all very much for for your concern...Since its been kinda car-ra-zee around here ... my mom/secretary is digging into my photo vault & posting a photo montage of the silly faces I made from my last bath...The one above could almost be mistaken for the great art piece The Scream. I would like to call this...Elephant Trunk...almost.
The Silly Smile...
Baby Chimpanzee...
On this Randay, I'm thankful for the Wendy's hamburger that my peoples gave to me this afternoon as a very special treat for having to stay overnight at Wincompoop's doghouse last night...

Randi in Chains...

This is the neato chain linky toy I received from Neko & I'm having a blast playing with it...until I got stuck...
What the...???
help....Help...HELP!!! Maybe this is my punishment for all the times I've gone unpunished for my role in various Shaken Stuffie Syndrome crimes...

ITS RANDAY!

Happy Randay Everybody! Thanks for asking about my sore bum - the hot spot is still there & its still itchy...but I'm trying to be good & not bite it - but I do anyway...which seems to make my mom/secretary upset...I'm not sure why...cuz it feels soooo good when I munch on it...
Well...my hired help is finally getting around to posting about the fantabulous package I received from NEKO! Neko is a beautiful Airdale that lives in the northern part of California...She is one cool gal cuz look at all the loot I got! Plus she arranged for the package to arrive right after I came home from the vet last week after my xrays!
Oooo....What's all this?
TOOTSIE ROLL! Pawsome!~ Its mine...GIVE IT BACK! I was really making the evil eyes when I was coming down off of the silly pills they gave me at the vet that day!
& a super duper interlocking stuffie chain!
& a neato bone with interchangable yummy rings that I have yet to savor...plus treats...Buffalo treats & the ones I'm sniffing are some of Neko's favorite! & a neato green soccer squeeky ball & a neato squeeky crown...

Its my cookie loot! I'm outta here!
No sharing...mine...
Oh...more cookies! Thanks so much Neko! You really know how to cheer a fellow Cali girl up... I'm still enjoying the cookies & all my toys...Hopefully this week I can enjoy my chewy rings!
On this Randay, I'm thankful for wonderful doggies like Neko who fill ordinary cardboard boxes with EXTRAORDINARY GOODIES! Long live the International Goodie Exchange!

XRATED RANDI - Baby Got Back (a bad one!)

Hey Everyone....sorry I've been a bit preoccupied all week...I was gonna have my mom/secretary post more about Naworlins & my neato package I received from NEKO for the Int'l Goodie Exchange...but that will have to wait till this weekend....cuz I have some other news to tell...I went to the vet cuz my left back leggy was a bit sore & I was walking funny...Look at the pic above...a doggie thermometer...I had that damn thing poked up my bum on Wednesday...
The vet techs are masters of trickery...they tell you to look a the pretty pics on the wall to get your mind off of it...oh look...doggies sitting on deck chairs on the beach...how nice...makes me want to be at the beach myself...DUH...OUCH! That was the moment the poker was poking me where the sun don't shine...
& then the took all my furs off & xrated me...& this what they found... Spondylosis - which is a condition in which bridges are formed along the ventral (bottom) parts of the vertebrae ...they aren't supposed to be fused together on the bottom like that...you can see one on the bottom in the middle of the pic & then the last three on the right side of the pic......a fancy smancy name for arthritis & I have multiple regions of it... “Spondylitis” pretty much means “an inflammation of the spine...
You really can't see the fused vertebre here...but I thought you'd all like to see a fantastic xray of my hippies...the vet said they look pawsome! No signs of hip dysplasia or anything like that...
Here I am just waking up from the sedative they gave me...my eyes are all red & droopy...
Sleeping the drugs off at home...zzzzzzzzzzzz...
Waking up to a freaking flash in my cute face...My eyes are still red & droopy...
I look kinda freaky here...drugs & me don't mix well...I prefer the highs I get from pizzle sticks or chasing kitties...but now I'm on Rimadyl for a trial period to see if it makes me feel better & gets my youthful kick back...I guess I'll never be able to fulfill my dream of trying out for the Rockettes...& becoming a prima ballerina like Sophie is out...oh well...
Love & Licks,
Randi
ps...my mom/secretary/nurse would like any advice anyone would like to share about arthritis/spondylsis/rimydyl... & I would like any advice anyone has about keeping 2 human hands on my belly to be rubbed 24/7 at all times...

ITS RANDAY!

Happy Randay Everybody! I'm gonna share a couple secrets with you all...my peoples were in Naworlins last week & look what they discovered...
MANGO has a secret life selling daiquiris in the French Quarter on Bourbon Street in Naworlins!
& lookie on the side....FREE SHOTS! That could only mean free shots of Mango Suds! That stuff is like gold! I can't believe he's just giving them away!
You can see what a popular place it is...expecially at night! Everyone getting their free Mango Suds shots & a daiquiri!
So I told my mom/secretary/bartender that I wanted to try a Mango daiquiri...& here is what she came up with...
This pic is after I've had a few rounds of Mango's special strawberry daiquiris...& he makes them strong...or so my mom/secretary said...
& little cutie pug Clover has a restaurant all her own! She's just a wee little girl...but she sure knows how to serve up a mean plate of Naworlin's best grub!
Even the cats have a club on Bourbon Street! It was amazing to see so many businesses of my friends!
This just might be the pièce de résistance...A hot dog cart! LUCKY DOGS! Oh my! They were on almost every street corner in the French Quarter!
On this Randay, I'm thankful that my friends are all doing so well in their business adventures in Naworlins...& I'm also thankful for all the people visiting Naworlins cuz they need all the tourism they can get! So go to Naworlins!
Love & Licks,
Randi

Happy National Doughnut Day!

Hi Everybody! I'm back! & what a wonderful way to celebrate today cuz its NATIONAL DOUGHNUT DAY! Here I am above trying to tell Mr. Big Bird that my snout is not a dark chocolate covered long-john doughnut...but he is intent on taking a nibble...
Since my peoples came back from new or leans - which is really called Naworlins by everybody that lives there, they have been telling me all about the wonderful foodables they ate...& I thought I'd share the pic above of the Beignets & Cafe au Lait from Cafe du Monde since its National Doughnut Day...Cafe du Monde is famous for these two things...& only these two things...beignets are yummy deep fried chunks of dough sprinkled (make that drenched) in powdered sugar...you can tell who has been to Cafe du Monde while walking around Naworlins cuz they all look like they have been in a flour fight...In the 4 days that my peoples were there - they ate at Cafe du Monde 3 times...I think my mom/secretary is still on a sugar high...
& lookie here! A blue doggie! There was an art exhibit of the blue doggies by artist George Rodrigue...its called RODRIGUE'S LOUISIANA:Forty Years of Cajuns, Blue Dogs, and Beyond Katrina...& there was a gallery in the French Quarter that sold his paintings of the blue doggies & they were really expensive...like $40,000...& my peoples didn't even bring one home for me...pooh.

I'm supposed to let you all know that my mom/secretary is WAY BEHIND in getting to all your bloggies...she visits but then doesn't leave comments...whats up with that? So she needs to work on that...& also work on telling you all about Naworlins in the next few posts.

Happy National Doughnut Day everyone!

Love & Licks,
Randi
