ITS RANDAY!

Happy Randay Everybody...well, yesterday I had my 2nd bath of the week & my skin feels better & its keeping the itchies away...so this good...what is bad, though, is that I've been feeling kinda cruddy...
A few days ago I didn't feel so good so my mom/secretary just snuggled with me on the couch for a few hours...
Then yesterday I started drooling & just wouldn't stop...I made a few puddles on the carpet & tile floors...
I'm eating OK though...so no problem there... I think I'm just gonna continue to rest today...
In the sunshine...sorry to all you who've been slammed with more snow...I'd gladly take some..
***from Randi's mom/secretary: Randi has done this in the past where she'll just start drooling & its like a little faucet turned on in her mouth...She's not panting when she does this, nor pacing or any other 'nervous' action...just a bit clingy & wanting affection & attention...In this past its happened maybe once every few months for no more than 10-15 minutes. Yesterday she did this almost all day...I've researched on the net..."possible pain, toothache, sore throat..." but nothing really definate. She's better today...wanting to play this morning...eating well (of course) & just napping... any ideas? I've asked the vet & they really can't pinpoint anything either...***
On this Randay, I'm thankful for lazy days in the sun.
Love & Licks,
Randi

Sorry to hear about the constant drooling. Hopefully its not a tooth ache.

I have no idea about why you are drooling. I hope its nothing that causes you pain!
No grass for you but at least you stayed there on your bed!

Randay is the BEST day!

Randy you look so comfy on your bed. I agree with Lorenza, I hope you are not in pain. I have not heard about what causes drooling like that, but if I come across anything I will let you know.

Hang in there sweetie.

Aw, Randi, my love, I am sorry you are feeling poorly. I wish I could come over and make you better.

I agree that sun baking is a good cure. I hope you aren't turning into a Relentlessly Huge with all that drooling.

Kisses,
Your Little Cub

Hmm, I wonder what's causing you to dribble so much? Anyway, I hope it doesn't happen again. Man, you sure can take the heat! If I was out there, I would be panting like crazee!

Randi, I am sorry you are under the weather! The only thing I can think is something going on in your mouth or with your teeths. I hope you feel all better soon!

Hi Randi!

I had a bad tummy yesterday and Dad took me to the ER. He says the cost will take up extra cookies which just doesn't seem fair.
Hope you are feeling better!

You must be dreaming of something extremely yummy while basking in the sun to cause all of this drooling, Randi! What could it possibly be?
We're glad the itchies have gotten better with more baths!

Love ya lots,

Randi, sorry you had a bout of illness. Hope you continue to get better. Newfs can do something called volvulus and if it doesn't untwist we can die from it. If the stomach twists you wont be able to vomit. A lot of drooling and not being playful can be signs of that. When it twists, you drool, when it untwists, you're better. Ask your vet. They can do a gastropexy that will stop it from happening.

Randi Girl!

Glad your fur furs are happy now and have gotten rid of those flakes who tried to take up residence among them!

Sorry to hear you're drooly. We are sending you some extra goober smooches to help with that and to remind you how much you are loved! Enjoy the sun, and be sure to bask all you can!

We'll have to go wish your cub, Dexter, a belated burpday. (You're SUCH a cougar, you! Rowwrrrrr!)

Goober love & smooches,

Randi,
You sleeping spot looks heavenly. Sorry to hear about the drool, although a dude like Mango might be proud. Mom says sounds like tooth problem, but that's because I've had two of those big giant back teeth removed when they abscessed, except when that happened, my whole face swelled. Maybe you have a cavity or something. Maybe you figured out how to get extra loving by making a little bit of drool. I sure hope you feel better really quick.

We're late in seeing this, sorry. Dot-Spot does the drooling some days and we've never been able to figure out why.

Sending good vibes all is well!

You are drooling because you had to wear those stupid teeth. What is up with that nonsense. You are much to much of a diva to be seen with poor dentation. Get well soon and soak up all the sun you can get.

Randi Babe!

My ma ape says she would like to be lounging in the sun with you.

When we drool a lot it is usually 1) upset tummy or 2) anxiety (this is my speciality!). Both of these usually pass. If you've checked the mouth for teethers or anything in the mouth causing the pain, it's probably just some discomfort.

My ma ape said, though, that you might want to see the vet to make sure my best Cali girl is not having seizures. Some dogs have the whole grand mal ones but there are seizures that may manifest themselves as spaciness and drooling. Next time it happens I'd look at things like the color of gums, pupils, etc.

I wouldn't be too alarmed, though!

wally t.

ps. I wish I could visit you in my nurse's outfit to bring you bowls of cool water and snacks on your lovely outdoor bed.

Sorry you're feeling under the weather Randi - mind ya, it sure looks sunny & warm in your part of the world.

Maybe the drool is caused by a tooth or sore gums!? I hope you're feeling better now.

keep us posted
