ITS RANDAY!

HAPPY RANDAY! & what a Randay its been! The Chat Pawty has been pawsome & I'm so happy have chatted with all of you! When I wasn't chatting...I was eating a new type of carrot...

Shredded carrot! They retain more of their carrotty flavor & are super yummy in comparison to diced carrots!
Since I'm on a orange streak today...I picked lots of oranges from my orange tree & made this...
JUICE!
Then I ripped up some toys...& the living room still hasn't been cleaned by my mom/secretary/maid either!
This is what I'm doing now...I think I'm gonna go chat some more...Ain' no pawty like a dog chat pawty cuz a dog chat pawty don't stop!

Secretary's Day!

Guess what today is? National Secretary's Day!~ If you care about being politically correct - then the appropriate title is "Administrative Assistant's Day"...But since sometimes my secretary - who is also my mom - is quite a bit of a plonker & doesn't get my posts done in a timely manner...so today could also be "Plonker Day"... But I thought I'd get my secretary her favorite flower - a gardenia - so here I am posing with the gardenia plant...I hope it will bloom...
Now, sometimes if difficult to mix business & family - hence my mom also being my secretary - it has it advantages & disadvantages...like last week when it occured to me after pooing during a walk that I still had a 6 inch piece of grass (only 3 inches was visible) still planted in my backside...Now I think it would have been very akward if I didnt know my secretary to have to take care of that problem...but since its also my mom...well, she knew what to do...bare hands & all...(ewww!)
Also - having a stranger for a secretary would mean missing all these cute shots of me at night...like last night for instance...I decided to sleep in the guest room where I have a bed (in what room don't I have a bed?) & my mom/secretary saw my cute little nose all smooshed up against the wall & yet I was snoring away..."Kodak moment" she said...so I guess a stranger wouldn't be sleeping in my doghouse to capture such cherished moments...
& here I am this morning...my dad left for work & I decided to keep his side of the bed warm...& his pillow too...he has dark hair...so I'm sure he won't even realize my donation of black hairs on his pillow...but here my mom/secretary was able to freeze this moment in time as well...
But she also catches me in the morning when I'm not looking my best either...but since I have no thumbs & cannot type by myself (or extract grass from my other end) I'll keep my secretary for now...

So Happy Secretary / Administrative Assistant / Plonker Day to all you peoples that help out on the bloggy!

ITS RANDAY!

Happy Randay Everybody! My mom/photographer took this pic of me a couple weeks ago & I've been waiting to use it I'm very happy in this pic & I'm very happy today! Its sunny outside, my belly is full & I was able to wake my daddy up very early this morning cuz he's home from a business trip! Life is good!
But here is a pic of me NOT so happy yesterday...I had to have a bath at the local "do it yourself doggie wash" cuz I was itchin'....my mom said it was due to too much roaching in the grass....I don't think I could ever roach too much...so I told her she was completely off her rocker...
Guess what! I was able to chase my very first kitty this morning! (the kitty is kinda hard to see - right in the center of the photo)...Usually I'm very nice & just like to stare them down...but today I was able to kick it up a notch & actually chase the kitty! It was wonderful! Now I know exactly why everyone raves about chasing kitties! Its fun! (sorry to all you kitties out there that's I've become friends with on the internetty...)
Meet my lovely friend Mona...she blends in with the landscape very well...We walk by her yard all the time & she's usually there sunning herself...I think my cousin Winston (aka Win-com-poop) has a big crush on her...
This is what I'm gonna do the rest of the day...

On this Randay, I'm thankful that my UTI went away very fast & that I'm feeling much better!

ITS RANDAY!

Happy Randay Everybody! Its been an eventful weekend...Let me explain...On Friday, my large & in-charge friend Mango encountered a very powerful force field in his home...there was even a video of him trying to challenge the force field for a cookie...Well, my mom left a comment saying that Mango was a big baby...which Peanut immediately & accurately challenged & called her a "meany mom"....& I completely agree...So for her penance, I told her I could do whatever I wanted yesterday (Saturday) which is also Mango-Day! So I invited Mango & Peanut over to play!
As you all know, Mango is much larger than Peanut... We spent some time chatting & then Mango said he'd like to teach us the appropriate way to meditate...
OHM - OHM - OHM...it really works - MANGO STYLE!
Then we had lunch together...I was kind of a bit of a piggy...they didn't really want carrots & slop...so they just joined me & kept me company...

I had such a fantastic afternoon with Mango & Peanut...then it was time for I walk...after my walk I had dinner & then went outside & I started squatting & squatting in the yard & nothing would come outta my little faucet...So my mom/secretary/nurse immediately took me to my vet & they confirmed that I have a UTI (urinary tract infection - not unusually terrific intelligence - which I already know I have)...
Here I am eating treat outta the mouth of some other teeth...
I wonder if you can get dentures like this when we are older...or maybe my mom/secretary is showing me how clean my teeth could be if I would let her brush more often... ANYWAY...
Here I am lounging & waiting for my Cephalexin Antibiotic Pill Poppers...Then I went home, went to bed & woke my mom/secretary up at 11:20pm, 12:30am, 2:15am & 5:35am this morning so I could go outside & squat about 25 different places each time...
But I think I'm feeling a little better...This is me after I ate breakast this morning...Now I'm going to take it easy all day & just relax & get belly rubs...

On this Randay, I would be very grateful if all of you could send your most pawsitive energy to Daisy the Curly Cat's friends Lilly & Iris & Mu Shue ..Lilly, Iris & Mu Shue had a 5 alarm fire in their apartment on Friday...Their mom Laura was not home at the time...but the kitties are still unaccounted for...please keep them in your thoughts & prayers...

I'm Baaaaaaack!

I'M BACK! Our stupid internet connection was on the fritz & wouldn't let my mom/secretary get to blogger at all or lots of other websites either...but it magically fixed itself...so I'm very happy about that...for all of you who may have forgotten about me...here is a pic of my very pretty paw paws...
I've been keeping busy smelling the flowers, playing ball & napping...& playing nurse to little Win-com-poop...
Remember my cousin Winston had a tumor on his side? Well, it was decided he needed it removed cuz he kept making it all oozy & bloody...Here he is in the car on the way to the vet...he was pretty scared....what a baby...
Here it is...sorry if you are a bit queezy...the tumor was the size of a quarter...& really nasty looking...sorry if any of you just had lunch...
Here he is with a new circuit breaker installed...I hope that really calms him down...

Its soooo gross I had to close my eyes....just can't look...yuck...
But he's doing much better now...& still stealing my toys... silly Win-com-poop...
Even though I've been told the "be nice" & "play gentle" cuz one lost stitch & all his guts could come oozing outta his side, I still have to defend my turf... & my toys...
I've tried to explain that tug of war is NOT an off limits game to those who have just had their side sliced open...TOUGHEN UP!
I think they may have put an extra high voltage circuit breaker in him...he's still has tons of energy & is dragging me on the carpet... anyway...its good to be back!
