New Recruit

Yep - a new recruit...you'd think my mom/secretary would learn her lesson by now...whenever I...ehhh...I mean, Winston, has discomboobulated any of my stuffies, I usually get a replacement by the next day...I'd like to think the system works...for stuffie replacement anyway... I'm not sure what I should name him...Mr. Yellow Fever? He looks kind of ill & I assume he's spent some time in some virus-infested jungle somewhere...I didn't recognize the postmark when we has delivered this morning...

Oh, by the way - I'm going to CAMP! My peoples are gonna be away for the holidays..I'm bummed, cuz my mom is going to to the land of Ike, Tasha & Eva & Suki Sumo! I'd love to come along...but I'm headed to a doggie day camp! I'll be playing non-stop at doggie day camp & then at night I get to sleep at the home of the camp sargent! No cages, no kennels & 24/7 supervision..plus, there will be lots of other doggies to play with....My brother Dublin & I stayed there last Christmas & it was a jolly good time...but I'm a bit nervous cuz I've never been away from home all by myself since Dublin went to Rainbow Bridge in March...so please send all your good vibes my way so I won't get homesick...I'm hoping the camp sargent lets me have blogging privilages if I'm good...so I can still visit all of you...

Happy Early RANDAY & HAPPY EARLY TURKEY DAY (Gobble-Gobble-Woof-Woof)

Love & Licks,
Randi

Oh Randay! I hope you have a good time away from home, though I know it is scary to be all by yourself (I had to go to day care after my sissy Morgan went to the bridge). Be sure to mope so you get extra attention. I wish you could come stay at our house! We used to pupsit at the holidays for my pal Frodo who looks just like you--I'd love to have a Ran-day party but I suppose my house is a bit too far to commute.

ps. Smooocheroonie!!
pps. HI RANNNNNNNNDAAAAAY! IT'S ME, ETHEL!

Randi, you always have interesting looking stuffies. My hooman M will never buy anything that nice as yours or too costly coz we always destroy it in one day. We give no mercy...

Hey Randi, Your camp sounds great - way better than Possum Place, where I always go. My mom is looking for a better camp. I sure wish we lived in California, so I could go to your camp. Or at least take care of monkey for you while you are away.

Ahroooh, roooh, rooooh!

Do you think you'll get turkey on turkey day at day camp?

Now about the new stuffie. It's a bit odd looking but, hey. Its a stuffie and since Gabe makes such a mess with ours we haven't gotten a new one for a while.

Enjoy your turkey day and post photos of what you do with the stuffie.

Wags and slobbers,
'Bella and Gabe

Damn, Randi! I wish you were coming with your mom. I could use some more big (thin!) dog playtime. Tell your mom that if she gets homesick and needs some puggy cuddles, she can come visit me in St. Paul.

Love,
Suki Sumo

Randi Girl!

Hope your time at camp is a blastarooni! I'm with Wally on the moping. Just start with a good mope, so they feel all sorry for you, then when they love on you, break into your regular Randi fun self and they'll think they worked a miracle.

Nothing ensures continued affection like making the hoomans think they've worked a miracle.

Bummer you can't go to Mini Soda with your parents, but I bet you'll have yourself a fine time.

Goob love & Turkey-flavored smooches,
Stanley

That camp sounds pretty good except for the 24/7 supervision. That sounds definitely... problematic, if you know what I mean. Have a good time, and don't worry - you'll make new friends and your peeps will be back before you know it!
