Stuffie Torture & Breakfast

Hey everybody...in my last post I mentioned that Mr. Facially Deformed Gorilla Stuffie was laying face down in a puddle from the rain...I was worried that I might get a call from The Hague in the Netherlands & be accused of torture & suffer the rath...but alas...he is just a bit frosty...its been chilly here at night & he only froze his butt off...nothing else...see....
Turn him over & he is happy & smiling & almost new...except for the missing eye, chewed lip & overall lack of awareness.... Now on to my diet... As most of you know, I've been kicking Kirstie Ally's butt in the diet department & at my last weigh in was a slim 86 pounds or so... They nutritional big wigs at UC Davis said I could increase my consumption of dry food...so I'm going to tell you about my daily diet routine... You can see I get 13 baby carrots chopped up fine...
& then 1 heaping cup of Royal Canin Calorie Control High Protein dry food...Here my mom/secretary/chef is letting me sample them to ensure high quality & freshness...
Then 1/4 can of the wet food is mixed in with some water to make a most pleasing bowl of slop...I am supposed to sit & then speak...
Here I am speaking..."WOOF!"
Then I get to chow down...& lick the inside of the bowl clean...
& the outside of the bowl clean...
& the back of the bowl clean...(if you biggie the pic, you can see a piece of dried carrot suck to the wall...)I still haven't figured out how to get the top off the dry food container to dine buffet style...but I'll let you know when I do...
Love & Licks,
Randi

I have tins like that. They are invariably equally as empty. Mistress has tried raising them up for me but I knock them on the floor in my enthusiasm TO GET AT THE FOOD. ooops, an Ethel-style shout there.

Carrots are meant to be v good for dogs. i think they are ok nothing spec.

You are looking very gorgeous with your lovely dark shiny fur.

Yours, Pippa. Or should that be Your Pippa? xx

Not only does Mom keep our food in bins with a death grip on the lid...she keeps them shut away in the pantry. Big meanie.

Randi, You are a perfect dog. Slim, trim, and cleaning up after yourself. The wall behind my bowl is always dirty, but the floor is super clean. I never thought about the wall before. hmmmmm. I feeling a bit peckish. I'm going to check it out.

Hi, Randi!
13 baby carrots?? I need to talk with my mom about the amount of veggies she gives to me!
Good job cleaning everything inside and outside your bowl!

Our guys get baby carrots too! But not chopped up. But it's probably a good idea to do that so there aren't big carrot chunks in their poo.

Love the photo of you with your lips all bunched up and talking! Those are my favorite captures!

Much love,

Your food looks goooood! We don't get to eat that mush in a day. Infact, we get about 3 tablespoons of dry Royal Canine Obese kibbles, some oil for fur & coat, a few pieces of meat & soup for breakfast. Isn't that sad? But I guess that keeps our diet controlled. And then for din dins, we sometimes get dry kibbles with oil & soup OR just plain broccolis!!! I'm not complaining that I get very little food. I'm happy that they taste deeleecious!

Love licks,
Solid Gold Dancer

Hey Randi,
Geez, our Mama keeps our food in bins high up in cupboards above the washer & dryer, then the rest of the huge bag is stored downstairs in an airtight container. We can't get near it. Hmmmmph, we'll have to figure that one out. We love carrots too. How come you didn't lick the carrot off of the wall? You'll have to throw Mr. Gorilla into the washing machine, he'll be good as new again.
Have a good weekend!

Randay--

It is my understanding that we're only allowed to torture naked apes. And there's only a few months left in this administration to do it. I did my part today with my noxious gas emissions.

And you do an EXCELLENT job with the dishes. I'm the designated dish washer in our house. Wouldn't it be romantic if we could wash the dishes together? Except I eat SUPERFAST so I can clean the outside of sissy's bowl WHILE she is eating. She always appreciates that.

wally.

ps. You are looking awfully skinny.

our food is in a container inside of a cupboard, its hopeless for a buffet here. gorillas have fur, they can handle the cold.

Randi you are the most cutest when you go woof. Baby carrots are so yummy they are almost cookies. I have two bins like that for my yummy kibble. Those lids can be challenging.

You really know how to lick a bowl clean. Your diet really doesn't look that bad. Our food is kept on the counter where we can't get close to it. Sometimes the crazy old lady spills some on the floor when filling the dishes and we always get to it before she does.

Oh I bet I could get the lid off your food. I seem to have a knack for that sort of thing.

Way to go with the diet Randi!! Does it take your human long to chop up all those carrots for you?

Since I'm such a food boss, mom doesn't leave our food storage bins in the main part of the house. I'd be guarding those things all the time! Plus she says something about there just not being enough room. She has to buy 80 pounds of food at a time so she's not running to our doggy store every other day.....I think she's making it up.

Peace + Paws,

Zen
