Secretary's Day!

Guess what today is? National Secretary's Day!~ If you care about being politically correct - then the appropriate title is "Administrative Assistant's Day"...But since sometimes my secretary - who is also my mom - is quite a bit of a plonker & doesn't get my posts done in a timely manner...so today could also be "Plonker Day"... But I thought I'd get my secretary her favorite flower - a gardenia - so here I am posing with the gardenia plant...I hope it will bloom...
Now, sometimes if difficult to mix business & family - hence my mom also being my secretary - it has it advantages & disadvantages...like last week when it occured to me after pooing during a walk that I still had a 6 inch piece of grass (only 3 inches was visible) still planted in my backside...Now I think it would have been very akward if I didnt know my secretary to have to take care of that problem...but since its also my mom...well, she knew what to do...bare hands & all...(ewww!)
Also - having a stranger for a secretary would mean missing all these cute shots of me at night...like last night for instance...I decided to sleep in the guest room where I have a bed (in what room don't I have a bed?) & my mom/secretary saw my cute little nose all smooshed up against the wall & yet I was snoring away..."Kodak moment" she said...so I guess a stranger wouldn't be sleeping in my doghouse to capture such cherished moments...
& here I am this morning...my dad left for work & I decided to keep his side of the bed warm...& his pillow too...he has dark hair...so I'm sure he won't even realize my donation of black hairs on his pillow...but here my mom/secretary was able to freeze this moment in time as well...
But she also catches me in the morning when I'm not looking my best either...but since I have no thumbs & cannot type by myself (or extract grass from my other end) I'll keep my secretary for now...

So Happy Secretary / Administrative Assistant / Plonker Day to all you peoples that help out on the bloggy!

Love & Licks,
Randi

I think it would be nice to have a side of the bed each Oh wait. I don't do beds. Ok, you keep the bed and I will chase that kitty for you.

Hey Randi, I don't want my secretary getting ideas above her station. You seem to have yours quite well trained. Any tips? J x

About that grass still stuck in your hiney - isn't that why leaves were invented? Mom always uses the biggest one she can find!
My mom loves gardenia plants too,Randi! She says the fragrance is intoxicating, whatever that means!

Love ya lots

Randi, I like Plonker Day. that's what my mom is, although she's been terrible about plonking on my behalf of late. She's working way too much and says she doesn't have time. Well, no Plonker Day pressies for her then!

You're looking super great Randi!

We have had that problem with unfinished uh poo business too. I tell ya, I complain about my Mom but the bare handed removal really is love! I see the pros and cons too, we are lucky and terrorized daily!

What a great post! Did it hurt when the secretary extracted the grass out off where the sun don't shine? Hee! I prefer Plonker Day too coz you know my mom, only helps me post once a week now.

Plonker is about right, but it is always good to have someone that is OK with removing items from your backend.

Watch out Randi, you will end up with pillow face sleeping like that.

I get the blades of grass hanging out of my hiney too and it feels very odd when they are manually removed.

Ah, your smooshed-up little nose looks very cute! I made a very bad mistake and forgot to get something for my Mommie/Secretary. Oops.

Ooooh--I missed Plonker Day but it's ok to celebrate it late since she is never on time with MY stuff. I mean this morning I had to wait 10 minutes for my breakie!

I do appreciate your Plonker posting these lovely photos of you and I don't know what you're saying about not looking your best in that last picture. Be-you-tiful!

ps. My ma ape says she wishes more than anything she knew me as a puppy and thinks I was probably panda-esque. Though she describes me in less flattering terms--chub with feet!

Oh Randi, It stinks not having opposable thumbs! Just these big fuzzy mitts to plod around with! But your mom sure takes pretty pix of you taking those beauty snoozes.

We've missed so much because our mom is out doing stuf lately with our aunt and the new cousins.
