ITS RANDAY!!!

Happy Randay Everypup! I've had quite an adventure this past week & the picture above shows how I'm recovering....yep...napping in the sun. I came home on Friday night & my mom said that I was sooooooo skinny! I guess that's what happens when you run yourself ragged for a week straight at doggy day care.... I had a very nice time & met lots of new friends.....
My mom had a suprise for me when she opened up her suitcase! A HONKING MALLARD DUCK! Just like the ones on Lake Como in St. Paul! Luckily, she found a stuffed one, cuz I really don't think a live one would have made the trip & came out honking. I dropped Mr. Yellow Fever Monkey like a hot potato....So I honked & honked & honked the night away!
Here I am helping it fly...with a little help by shaking it up...now some of you might think this activity may lead to shaken stuffie syndrome, but I don't agree...
For instance, take Mr. Yellow Fever Monkey...he was sick already...we all knew his life was going to be a short one...he was actually ripped from limb to limb & his throat was slashed. I think the CSDC (Center for Stuffie Disease Control) would have done the same to keep his illness from spreading...
Plus, my mom promised me she would take some pics of a few goodies that were being made for Turkey Day...Mmmm...glazed carrots & PIG! I hope all of you have a very successful Turkey day & that lots of stuffed dropped from the table & into your awaiting mouths! On this Randay, I am thankful for a warm home, loving pawrents & soft, new stuffies. So many pups are still in shelters & awaiting their furever home...I should know, cuz when I was a wee pup, I was one of them. Please keep those pups & other animals without a home in your minds this upcoming holiday season.

Love & Licks,
Randi

Happy Randay!!!

You look so svelte, Randi, but don't buy into the cultural stereotypes of weight. You looked perfectly fine before you went to doggy daycare.

So sorry about Mr. Yellow Fever. Like you said, though, his days were already numbered. But hey, the mallard looks mighty fun and honkable.

Hope you got some of that PIG meat (or something equally succulent).

I'm thankful for you, girlie.

Goober love & holiday smooches,
Stanley

I am drooling - MEAT and carrots! Also the duck! I wish I had a honking toy. While I was at Lake Harriet the other day I was wondering how the mallards were keeping warm out on the lake. I'll let you know how the Lake Como ducks are doing ASAP.

Love,
Suki Sumo

Yay Randi, welcome home! we are happy to sniff you again. you really scored on the honking duck. that looks like a great stuffy. it was nice of you to help him fly. we hope he can hold out longer than your monkey did.

that looks like quite the meal. did you get some of it?

we are thankful too, for our home, soft beds, good food in our tummies, and our mom. we wish we could take in all of the homeless animals. we're glad you have a nice home and we're glad to have you for a friend!

Hello Randi
Welcome back. Are you going to tell us about your adventures when you were away - or is it a secret?
Thanks for logging in every now and again though, I was pleased to hear you were ok.
