The Stink is Coming From the Kitchen...

I don't know if any of you have been keeping up to date on all the trouble that Asta & her friends have gotten themselves into..but it made my mom/secretary give me a very stern warning that I'll be allowed to go on roadtrips with my DWB friends when pigs fly....so I'm not sure when pigs actually fly..maybe during the nice spring months...but their road trip looks like a big blast & I can't wait to go on one...Anyway..my mom was inspired by Asta's mom in a recent post about making soup....so here is her feable attempt at being a chef today...(I'm staying in the living room cuz the kitchen really stinks...)
Stuff to make the But-a-nut Squash Soup...receipe from Williams Sonoma...if it turns out OK & doesn't poison my dad, I'll post it for all you to try...if you dare...
Geez....those things sure are stinky....I don't think she is following the directions very well...I wouldn't eat that...
This is how I'll be spending the rest of my afternoon...I hope she doesn't alter my dinner rations...that orange stuff in the oven looked nasty...the only orange things I want to eat are baby carrots...

Love & Licks,
Randi

Hi Randi
Thank you for calling by my blog to say "hi", and I've added a link to your blog too. We're sorry to hear about your brother, Dublin, and thank you very much for looking out for my brother, Beau. Mum cooks pumpkin and vegies and stews for us. We rarely eat doggie food.
Love from Hammer

oh we laughed at the title of this Post Randi!

We have something called a Smoke Alarm right next door to our kitchen......and sometimes when Jeannie is cooking it keeps going off!

My Dad calls it her kitchen timer!!

When the smoke alarm goes off, the food is ready!

Happy Thursday! Love Marvin xxxxx

Oh my DoG Randi! You're gorgeous. How can I possibly compete. I think we need to be a team.

p.s. try the squash. It's actually pretty good. Kind of like sweet potatoe. You might like it! But maybe get to it before your mom puts all kinds of other crap with it. They always have to fuss with everything. Why can't a carrot just be a carrot?

Are they really that stinky then? Did you dare to try a little soup?

Randi Girl!

I hope that squash tasted better than it smelled. Sometimes the weirdest smells come out of our kitchen, but that's just because my girl stinks at cooking! (GET IT?)

Goober love,
Stanley
