ITS RANDAY!

HAPPY RANDAY EVERYBODY! Guess what? My cousin Winston, aka Wincompoop, is staying with me for 3 weeks & no, I'm not the least bit happy about it...which means I have to share my toys, my ma & pa & sometimes my snackables...but at least I was able to share the torture of another bath with him...
Only hours ago, my mom/secretary scrubbed little Wincompoop & hosed him down like a drenched duck...it was pretty funny to watch...& then I realized she was gonna do the same to me! I've been really flaky & my skin has been super itchy...I told my mom that I was alergic to Winson, but she didn't believe me...
No more baths...please...I know I'm a newfie/lab cross & pretty much would live in water 24/7...but staying clean is just not part of the deal...Do you think my sad puppy eyes were convincing? NO! Meanie Mother...
But I did get a new toy outta the deal...Mr. Turtle...he's a bit slow, so I have no trouble catching him & giving him a bit of a stuffie shakedown...

As for Wincompoop...I guess he's not too bad...its been kind of, sort of fun having someone to boss around all the time & someone to steal my toys back from ... His peoples are on vacation & I'm gonna need a vacation when they get back.

On this Randay, I'm thankful for my extra 40 pounds of weight that give me great leverage & helps me win most fights/stuffie tug-of-wars with little Wincompoop.

Love & Licks,
Randi

ps...my mom needs some help on how to do bloglines & how it shows what bloggie has been updated...she's fallen so far behind in keeping up with you all that she feels horrible...& she should be...so any advice would be greatly appreciated...

Baths are the worst, glad at least you shared in that as well as the good stuff!!!

Blog wise, we use google reader... we just needed to put the blog address (the http:// thing) into the subscription list on google reader and then it tells us whenever there is a new post! We love it, it helps keep up so much better...

Sorry about the bath and I understand about having to share the attention. I'm trying to send Brice to Ammy from AO4 but Momma won't let me.

P.S. If you want the "time since last post" right on your sidebar, you can add a page element called "Blog List" within your blog layout. That's what we use.

OH--a bath AND visitors. Double whammy. Not cool.

I hope we don't have to have any slumber parties. It's nice when we visit friends at their house but my house and snackables (and my ma ape) are MINE.

ps. "Totes" means totally and I think the kids use it so I decided to use it to make me sound younger.

hi Randi, we use the "blog list" thing too, we had to retype all of our blog friends, but now we can see all of the stuff. maybe the corgi girls way sounds easier, but we don't know what that is. our mom is kind of a dork about this stuff.

we hope you do have fun with your buddy Winston. we're sorry about the bath. it happens to all of us.

woofs.

Randi! I'm getting a bath tonight too, but at least I don't have to put up with a Wincompoop. But somedays I think it would be nice to have a Wincompoop around for just an hour or so.

My mom uses bloglines. It's really easy. Just click on that orange square up in the address bar and it will kind of walk you through it. She also says try watching this: http://commoncraft.com/rss_plain_english and when your done with the rss one, check out the Zombies in Plain English. It's really funny.

omdogness flash and i got baths outside today also. Something must be in the air. We use bloglines we like it. Mom finally got grammie to be able to use it by herself so she might be able to help your mom figure it out if she wants

Hi, Randi
Happy Randay!
Knowing him yes, you will need a long period of vacation after those 3 weeks!
I can see you were not so happy with that bath!
But you got a new toy!
Kisses and hugs

I think you and Winston will have lots of fun while his folks are away!
We use Google Reader for our blogs. It is very easy and convenient, and updates the feeds automatically. iGoogle is our homepage and we just bookmark the reader on our bar. Just like the corgi girls say, all you have to do is be logged in and add the address to your subscriptions and Voila! you are good to subscribed. (You can message Mum if you need help figuring it out.)

Happy Randay!

Thee weeks with the Win-com-poop? I think you two will have loads of fun together.

We use Bloglines, too. The ones in bold typeface are the ones that you have not seen yet.

Hi Randi,
Sorry to hear about your bath and unwelcome house guest!!
We use bloglines, and we love it! Super easy to use - my mom is computer stupid, but she found that the bloglines set up was easy and they gave good instructions!

omdog THREE WEEKS OF WINCOMPOOP. YUCK! looks like other folks are giving you advice on bloglines!!

I think you both look cute all wet. Better you than me.
Grammie uses bloglines to keep up with the blogs. She checks them daily to every other day to see who has actually posted. Don't ask her how it works though. Hit the add and put in the url to suscribe. If Grammie can do this anyone can figure it out.

Bath time is bad.. Of course Louie thinks it is great. He is such a goof.. We broke Callie before Mom could give her a bath.. Lucky her.
