Ahoy Mate!

Ok - so my mom followed through on her threat...but thankfully (if I have any reason to be thankful at all....) its not a cone collar...its a Pro-Collar...but they should just call it a "blow-collar"...cuz wearing this thing just blows!

My rump is better....thank you to everyone who offered a bit of insight & advice...I really only get hotspots in July & August when the weather here turns a bit sticky...my fuzzy undercoat sheds & it doesn't completely fall out..so it gets stuck & then it itches & then I itch it & you know where I'm going with the rest of the story. Its my mom's fault..she needs to brush me better so this doesn't happen.... Plus - we don't have air conditioning....it was never a problem before, but San Diego has been getting warmer & sticker - or so I've noticed.

So, no - I'm not going swimming, I'm not going sailing, I haven't just failed the (1/2) Newfie Water Rescue Test...but if it suddenly decides to rain here in this rain-less part of the world & I fall in a puddle...no need to worry about me!

Love & Licks,
Randi

PS...My mom let me have a new stuffie toy yesterday with all the trama I endured...a dolphin! THE IRONY!

oh but you look so darn handsome in the blow collar, I thought you were about to take a sea trip there!

You can have some of our rain with pleasure! I will send some over to you from the UK!

Mom says your mom needs to get a furminator. That will get out your yucky undercoat that likes to give you hotspots. The collar looks good on you in fact.

Thanks for the welcome to the DWB. Loved your pictures. Have knocked (literally) Survivor off the puter so that I could leave a message. He is such a puter hog..no offense to all those hogs out there.

Will speak at ya later.

Wow, Randi! That's a super cool collar. Way better than an e(vil)-collar. If you hadn't told me, I would have just thought you were trying out for the Navy!

Hi, Randi.
Glad you didn't have to use the e-collar. I really hope you get better soon! We need a break from this hot weather, right??
Have a good night

You look cute in anything you wear, Randi. Even a blow collar. Nice Dolphin, too.
We're sorry. :=<

Peanut's Mom is right...I have a very thick undercoat. My Mom bought a furminator & brushes me every day (which I am NOT a fan of, but I get cookies at the end). It's made such a difference in the amount I'm shedding.

Just something to try out.

Glad you're feeling better.

Hey Randi! I just found you through Marvin's blog. You two kind of look alike ... but then you've probably discussed that already!
Sorry about the giant life saver on your head. Beats the lampshade, though. Ha roo roo roo!

Hi Randi,

Well that is an improvement over the evil cone -- if you come see my blog, you'll see that I've been collarized for the past week -- and it's not been too much fun. But since my collar is to protect the stitches on my face from my paw -- I guess the blow collar wouldn't work -- or would it?

Anyway, just a few more days --

Come visit -- we're happy to meet you (Poppy sent me).

Just Harry
