Just A Couple Questions....

This Dog Blog thing has been great! So far, I've gotten comments from the Nanook & Pooka (they are royality in my book), The Newfs of Hazzard & Opy. I'm still trying to figure out how all the buttons & do-dads to work, since everyone elses blog is quite superior to mine, but I'm learning! Today I'm going to do a quick & random "get to know me" list.

Where's your favorite place to be? Snuggled next to my mom & dad in bed (we need a bigger bed)

Where's your least favorite place to be? In any room that the purple dyson carpet sucker is...that thing scares the kibble out of me!
What's your favorite place to be massaged? on my tummy & on my rump

Strong in mind or strong in body? both! I am quite a little clever smarty pants & I can play tug of war with my 240 pound dad - I usually win...sometimes I let him win..it makes him feel good
What time do you wake in the morning? around 5:45am - for my morning exercise

What makes you really angry? having to do too many tricks to get only one treat

If you could play any instrument, what would it be? mmmm, not sure...but my brother Dublin loved to play the drums. He used to wack his long tail into the walls, chairs, legs of people, anything pretty much. We used to call him The Little Drummer Boy.
Favorite color? PINK!
Which do you prefer, sports car or SUV? as long as it runs & has 4 wheels & takes me places with the windows rolled down, I don't care
What is your favorite season? Summer - I love to lay in the sun on my blanket in the backyard...but its summer year-round in San Diego.
If you could have one super power, what would it be? I'd like to wiggle my nose & grant wishes...is that a super power?
If you have a tattoo, what is it? what's a tattoo? Is that the same as a microchip?
Can you juggle? no, but I've been known to somehow get 4 tennis balls in my mouth
The one person from your past you wish you could go back and talk to? DUBLIN!
What's your favorite day? Sunday...in our house, its called "RANDAY!
Which do you prefer, sushi or hamburger? hamburgers! yum!

Who should have a dog blog? Jack & Phoebe....Morgan & Matilda....Jesse & JoJo

Favorite game to play? fetch (but I've changed the rules & don't give the ball back), hide & seek & shake the stuffed animal till all the guts come out

Hey Randi,
We saw that you are new to DWB and wanted to stop and say "Hi".
We already saw so much in your posts that we want to comment on.
1. We're sorry to hear about Dublin. I know how hard it is to lose a sibling.
2. We live in MN so the bridge tragedy has been very hard on us.
3. You should stop by and see Pippa. Everyone thought he was a girl because of his name. Be careful 'cuz he's a big flirt.

Belly Rubs,
Tasha & Eva

Hi Randi,
Nice to meet you!
We need a photo of the 4 tennis balls in your mouth, everyone will go crazy for that. I can only do three.

Tail wags,
Spencer

I'm sorry you're scared of your vacuum cleaner Randi! We both started out being afraid but now we're not even a little bit afraid and mama says she should never have made us comfortable with it because now when she is trying to vacuum and we are sleeping we don't even move and she has to try to shove us out of the way! Ha ha!

But if your mama wants you to be okay with the vacuum tell her to start feeding you your meals next to it or on it while it is off. Once you don't even bat an eyelash doing that, tell her she she feed you in the next room with it on, and gradually move your bowl closer to it over a period of days or weeks, depending on how totally terrified of it you really are. When you can eat your meal right next to it when it is on, and no longer seem nervous about doing so, then you will be very nearly cured!

Mama didn't have to do that with us because we were puppies when she first got us over our fear, and puppies are highly impressionable. So all she did was play with it, and bounce around, and sniff it, and act like it was the greatest thing in the world, and after a little bit we got so danged curious about what she was up to that we came running over to investigate!
