Shop 'Till I Drop

My lovely lady rump is getting better....my mom caught me a couple times trying to munch on it yesterday & out came the floatation device. But I have been known to use quite a bit of trickery around the house - so I kept slipping my head out of it & left that silly blue thing on the carpet...so my mom packed me up in the car & we went back to the store where she bought the stupid thing...The sizing chart said I should have an extra-large...but since my head is kind of small in comparison to the rest of my body, I returned it for a large...wow! A Large! Must be all the weight I'm losing...

Then I was able to browse around the store...I found lots of wonderful things...yummy treats, an entire aisle with only tennis balls! I asked my mom to buy them all for me & she said no...so I put her on a time out & just walked away...that's how you have to displine those humans now & then. I found a replica of Nanook's favorite squishy ball & a cookie filled display that was just my height! Now why would they display those delicious cookies so close to my mouth if they didn't want me to eat them? I tried, but my mom kept pulling me away...I was able to munch on a couple before my mom felt guilty & bought a few more...HA HA! That trickery worked!
I was outfitted with the large floatation device when I arrived home & it actually made a nice pillow! After all that, I napped in front of the fan & had a bit of cookie when I woke up...that's the life...shopping & cookies!

Randi

Hi, Randi.
I hope this new flotating device works for you better than the other.
I'd love to go to a pet store but here in Mexico we don't have them!
Have a nice day

Holy doodles, you're a cutey pie! My mom loves that big pic when your blog comes up. Me, I think you might be competition. I can't decide if I should send a list of my boyfriends or let them decide on their own who they think is prettier. Oh well. We might have to share a couple of them.

I would have killed for one of those blow collars when I had my knee surgery last winter. It looks way more comfortable than the stupid cone.

Good job on getting the cookies. Cookies are the best.

Our Mom just said we get to go on a field trip tomorrow to get more treats and toys. But she also mentioned a bath. I wonder if the first is a bribe or a reward?

Wow Randi, that shop looks amazing. I think you were very restrained considering all the temptation.

You manage to carry off that flaoting device neck appareil with great panache.

I love the toy store, sorry you had to go to get the blue thinggy, but hey, it looks great with your colors. Neither Bella or I have had to wear one or that cone thanks. Thank Doggie God.

Right now, Bella is outside so I get the puter all to myself. Finally.

Well, mom is working with us on trying to get along. Yesterday was pretty good, mom walked both of us at the same time. That is a big improvement. She keeps trying and so is Bella. I am always ready to get along and let Bella be the boss, but Bella has other ideas...

Ok, sure hope you feel better. I know all about that hot fur. Mom takes me to the spa once or twice a year in the summer. I get a bath and a hair cut. When I get all my fur back, I will post pictures and you won't even know it is me, cuz I sure look different.

Look how little that fuzzy ball is! Mine is bigger than my head! (Mama's Note: And that's saying something, lemme tell you...)
